HOW DO I...
OBTAIN TELEPHONE ADVICE?

The best time to speak to the doctor by telephone is between 8.00 - 8.30am and 11.00 - 11.30am each weekday.

HOW DO I...
MAKE APPOINTMENTS?

Appointments for both morning and afternoon are released at 8.00am on the day you wish to be seen. If you require an appointment you need to telephone at 8.00am on the day and, depending on availability, you will be given a morning or afternoon appointment.

Appointments can still be booked up to one month in advance but the majority will be released on the day, so book early if you can only attend on a certain date.

If a problem arises in the afternoon you can telephone and speak to the on-call doctor, who can offer advice and appropriate management.

HOW DO I...
CANCEL APPOINTMENTS?

Patients are requested to call in to cancel any pre-arranged appointments that are no longer required. This gives us the opportunity to give your appointment to someone else.

HOW DO I...
OBTAIN HOME VISITS?

Please ring before 10.00am if a visit is required that day. Emergency visits will only be arranged after that time. The receptionists will need some details to allow the doctor to assess the urgency of the call.

HOW DO I...
OBTAIN TEST RESULTS?

If you have any investigations such as blood or urine tests/x-rays etc, performed, it is your responsibility to contact the surgery for the results.
